Family camping trip to Gooseberry!

Ok, so were pretty lousy at updating our blog lately. I would profess a penitent heart and a resolve to do much better but I'm not gonna make promises I may not keep! Anyways, here was a really fun camping trip that we took up Salina canyon at a pretty little campground called Gooseberry. After unloading the car of all our gear, I realized that of all the things to forget, it just had to be the tents! We looked at the sky and were somewhat comforted that there was not a cloud in the sky! So, yeah, we just slept under the stars! And what a beautiful night time sky it was too so we were lucky enough to feel that forgetting the tents was actually a blessing. The milky way was bright and with no moon, there were a million stars to see. We hiked, played in the stream, pushed giant dead quaken aspen trees over and listened to their crashing echo through the groves of trees, and had a blast doing it all! We cannot wait to do it again soon!

Zion Boy's Trip..... Finally!

Others have told the stories so I won't go into that so much. It was a lot of fun and I'm looking forward to this fall when the Henry Mtn. Boys trip is pending scheduling......!

Do you remember these cute outfits from the 4th of July last year? Well, due to great demand, my Mom is making them again. She has been selling them at a store, but she sent me a bunch of her patriotic ones. I will have them till Friday, so if you are interested having any, let me know! Family Vacation to Oregon!

Last week we flew the kids up to Oregon to visit our long time friends, the Sunderland's, in Canby Oregon- just outside Portland. We all had fun relaxing someplace actually green! It was so beautiful up there! We wish we could have scooped Peter and Brenna's yard up and dropped it back here in Annabella.

We relaxed, we drove to the Oregon coast to visit the Aquarium and windy beach, we fished for sturgeon in the Wilamette River, we visited the temple, and basically had a most wonderful time. The kids especially had the time of their lives!

Thanks again for putting up with us Peter and Brenna! You were fantastic hosts! Can't wait for your trip back here this summer!

Weekend in St. George

So, it was a few weeks ago, but we went and had fun in St. George! Grandma made some cute shirts and we had fun with the cousins having a mini Easter hunt and running some amazing races!

Jeff and his brother Beau went on a trip to Washington a few weeks ago. They had a great time and enjoyed the scenery. Here are some pics of what they saw. The little church was off the road at a gas station, I think. It had little pews in it and everything. You never knew their secret desires.......(Beau was really into it and preached fiercely for a long time......)
